Hello!

I'm looking in to getting a new hybrid bike to use mainly to get to and from work. The ride is around 7-8 miles each way in the city. My budget is just £500. I wish to spend the maximum of £400 for the bike and spend the rest on proper accessories and clothing.

Through a bit of research I've narrowed down my choices to two potential candidates.

They both fit my needs I suppose. (Not really an expert. Complete newb) and both are within my budget.

First one I saw on sale is this one. Norco indie nexus IGH. I've never actually seen this one but it looks ok. I find it aesthetically pleasing and simple.

Second is the Whyte Whitechapel I've tried this one in the shop the other day but didn't pull the trigger coz it's a bit over budget. However, this shop have it on sale!

I was hoping you guys could tell me what you think of them? or even recommend other ones that are good?
