Hi all,
Trying to help my girlfriend pick out a bike for a birthday present but don't know a lot myself. Have kind of narrowed it down to two models based on what's available locally and wondering if anyone has any input on one or the other. As stated in the title they are the 2015 Giant Rove 0 and the 2016 Trek FX 7.3 WSD.
They're both roughly CA$750 which is the upper end of our budget, and both have been tried out with no real preference given between the two. Interest is roughly 75/25 paved vs local trails (crushed rock mostly). Region is fairly hilly and rainy (Halifax Region).
Personally am leaning towards the Rove as it seems to have slightly higher quality components from the little research I've done, also I'm a fan of buying older models on clearance.
