I'm researching what to buy for my first proper road bike, but feeling overwhelmed by the options.
Post Body
Up to this point I've been riding a Trek 7.2 FX hybrid, and as I'm getting more into cycling, I'd like to get a full-on road bike. I've been trying to search for things, but the amount of options is simply overwhelming, plus I don't know what half of the technical specifications mean, making it difficult to compare different models.
I am looking for a suggestion for a road bike that'd preferably cost ≤£500 (~$800). I'm not sure if that budget's too high or low, so feel free to take it with a pinch of salt.
I should also add that I'm in the UK, if that makes any difference.
Thanks in advance!
