I would like to find a set of vintage style roller skates, the kind with the metal bottom frames and the leather straps, fitted for an adult, BUT with some modern amenities such as brakes and non-metal wheels. I have seen various etsy listings, but they either have the metal wheels, are actually old and rusted (and likely just decorative), or are only sized for children. I saw a company (Jonex) that makes such a product for the Indian market, but is there something like what I'm seeking in the US?

I'd like them for the ability to quickly transition from walking in my normal shoes to cruising on wheels without having to buy specialty shoes. Plus the ability to stash them in a bag when not in use is why I'd like them over something like a skateboard.
