It's not the changes to the plot, it's the poor cinematic quality that makes it look more CW than premium top tier show like the HBO, Cinemax, starz. Costumes were shit. Cgi meh. Pacing wrong. Book adaptations can be done well look at Outlander and GoT! even The Vampire Diaries and it is CW lol.
