Okay, so from The Shadow Rising through Fires of Heaven, I was SO annoyed with how Rand was treating everyone. I understood he was under a lot of pressure, but it felt like he was being a complete jerk to everyone who just wanted to help him.

I’m currently about 3/4 of the way through LoC (Mat is on the way to Ebou Dar with Elayne and Nynaeve and co) and honestly, the Aes Sedai are getting so annoying I can’t WAIT for Rand to come down on them like the Hand of God. The Tower Aes Sedai, the Salidar Aes Sedai, even Elayne and Nynaeve (who I would still take a bullet for—Nynaeve, not Elayne) are getting on my nerves with the way they’re treating Mat. If you had told me two books ago that anyone would annoy me enough that I actually want Rand to be a jerk to them, I wouldn’t have believed you.
