Hello! I travel A LOT and as my back disease is getting worse I'm unable to walk far distances. Going to the airport is so stressful because I never know where they keep the chairs. I think I am at the point in my disability that it is time for me to consider getting a wheelchair or 2 for different parts of my life. Tbh as much as I travel I'm not too well versed on airplane things so I'm not sure, can you take a power chair or does it need to be manual? We never check any bags, just use our carry on so we don't have to go wait at the baggage claim. Do you have to check a wheelchair?
I'd also like to get one for going on walks in somewhat rugged terrain. Idk if there is an option that could fit both my needs? Or if I should get 2 different ones for different occasions? I miss being in nature. I've boarded myself in for so long being afraid or embarrassed to use assistive devices but I'm done and ready to experience the world again.
Thanks for any insight!
