ISO any specific/interesting information about this granite from private land near Granby, CO! It has beautiful pinks, purples and little bits of deep red. Looks like quartzite to me but I am not too smart lol

Post Body

It definitely has mica flakes in some of the crevices, I collected lots of mica in the same trip around the same rocks. It has beautiful pinks, purples and little bits of deep red throughout. Looks like quartzite to me but I am not too smart lol!!! Iā€™m especially curious about the pinks and reds in this. The rest looks very quartzite-y to me, which seems accurate for Colorado? Anyway the pastel pink to blue/purple is just so sexy šŸ„µ Iā€™m tempted to have it sliced it into tiles or polish it
