Shimmering Blue, Black, and Grey Petrified Rock I think? Is this a common place item? New to PNW Region.

i there. Curious if any of you have seen such petrified wood / if this is a common natural process I an just not usually privvy to?

At first I thought I hit some last of us type mushroom mold variant growth lol. When I got closer I realized the crazy blue/ grey/ lack hue ls were actually rock and in turn actually wood at one point.

Haa anyone on this sub had much experience with this same cool looking find?
