Gulf Coast region, Texas, I was outside, and all of a sudden these two crashed into a chair I was standing next to, entangled in what I assume was their mating ritual. Anybody have a specific ID?

Enclosed is a picture of what I would imagine is the Male and the Female.

The Male would not leave the general vicinity after the Female landed for a rest. He hovered and kept a close watch on me, and soon landed on a nearby fig tree.
