Post Body

Saw this roach on my way out the door to go to work last night. At first I thought it was a firefly because the markings on its thorax where identical to the fireflies we have here in Texas and it's size was also approximately the same. When I looked closer I noticed two appendages coming out of the rear of its abdomen and that it was in fact some kind of cockroach. I've never seen one like it before and I suspect it may not be a native species. The image I managed to get was terrible but it flew away before I could get my flash turned on for a second pic. Google has been zero help which is part of why I think it might be invasive.
