I'll give more context. In The Great Gatsby, Myrtle Wilson claims that she was never in love with her husband and that she only married him because she thought he was a gentleman and that he knew a lot about breeding. After she makes this claim, her sister calls her out by saying that Myrtle was once crazy about him. What trait does that show in Myrtle?
