Trying to come up with a name for an egregore of personal taboos and things we desire to leave behind for a d&d thing, and it needs a name lol
Edit: shunned (in a metaphysical / mental sense) and profaned are really close to what I'm thinking, something along those lines is more accurate than the initial description.
Edit 2: just gonna go with taboo or Profaned for now, seems to be the closest I can get.
