Some time ago, I was actually able to successfully find a word for repeating the same information in a different way needlessly, which I like doing as a joke. That word was tautology, but what if you say something that’s basically obvious and sorta repeat in a way, but because it’s negative?

For example “this plan will definitely work, unless it doesn’t.”

Or

“The only way he’s not right is if he’s wrong.”

I assume it’s not tautology because the information isn’t repeated, but to me it’s a similar result.
