Hello!

For the longest time I have been trying to find this movie. I don't remember all of the details of the film, but a few things stick out that I'm hoping a vampire movie buff can help me out with.

It is late 90's early/mid 2000s and one of the opening scenes is at nighttime, and it is on a highway in a desert. There is a group of people driving along in a small RV, and they drive at high speeds in a chase, and end up by a cave where they fight some vampires. There is an explosion and it cuts out to a bunch of people dying/dead. I remember there was a lot of action, guns blazing, etc. I also remember thinking this was a cool "kill vampires" type of movie but I never got through the whole thing, so I've been wanting to figure out what this was to watch it. If it helps I think this was on HBO/Cinemax/Shotime for some time, and that was when I originally saw it.

What I know is this movie is NOT John Carpenters Vampires nor is it Desert of Blood, although from what I remember it had a very similar type vibe.

Any suggestions as to what this movie is?
