Ok, so, I remember watching this about two or three years ago through Amazon movies maybe, but for the life of me I can’t remember the name. I really liked it.
It’s a movie about a French girl who makes films. She’s in the U.S. for like an internship or something, but she has nowhere to stay and this guy lets her stay at his apartment. The problem is that this guy’s girlfriend/wife is the one who pays for the apartment and sustains him and their daughter.
So this guy doesn’t work and pretty much lives off of what his (Jewish) grandmother gives him, BUT he doesn’t use that money to pay rent or buy food, he uses it to rent out a studio and record music.
So the French girl turns out the be the daughter of a famous French designer or something like that, and I think the title of the movie has the word “fish” in it somewhere.
So please help! Thanks!!
