A former friend played a song for me by an indie duo around 2009-2010. The duo was a man and a woman, I think the guy was playing drums in the music video and the woman had short blond hair, she was dressed in a gender neutral way. The song itself was for a soulmate she, the singer, had never met. Lyrics were something like, 'this song is for that that one, I know we've never met, but"...
I wouldn't be surprised if this indie duo was from the Nordics/Scandinavia.
