She is a nun that's transformed into a vampire. He finds her hiding and knows of vampires so wants to help her. She ends up drinking him etc. And end up pregnant with his baby. She gets taken by a secret organization with a lab and he is left behind but is found by family or friends. She drank too much so he is turned by the family. She thinks she is cursed because she was a nun before turning. She may have killed the one who turned her? It was modern times and they have other vampires in the lab. They have a daughter and she gets her own book I think. This might be the second book in the series.
