I'm back with another obscure novel.Older book, like pre 1990's.
Planet has no men, books starts out where a pair of dudes, I think they were a couple (one of whom is protagonist) are playing some VR immersion game, something happens, and they stop playing.
The protagonist's partner complains about life being boring or pointless or that something was missing, jumps out the window. Seems buildings have these force field type things to prevent that very thing (It seems to be a societal problem), but partner actually had managed to sabotage system and falls to his death.
Things happen. Protagonist ends up of course either on a planet, or a dimension, or a time skip to a place where there are only women, who actively think men are evil.
More things happens, hero meets a girl, they have weird feelings for each other, big chase scene.
I forget the rest.
After typing that, it does seem like christian propaganda scifi. But when I read it at 13-14 years of age, I didn't see it, just loved spaceships and sci-fi.
I do want to read it again as an adult, and see how it has aged.
