This one is a head scratcher. I'm to the point where paying a small $25 fee in paypal would be worth it.

In the novel:

A TV priest is spouting "End of Days, the Antichrist" stuff.

Aliens invade earth, they are insectoid, and they don't even try to understand us.

They have floating ships, and go around the world randomly dropping molten lava and other killing stuff, or they will drop jewels and gold.

They emote through movement, and good dancers are ranked high.

This possibly betrothed pair of aliens, she is like a princess, and he is like a high caste warrior have a human captive (the hero)

She tortures him for fun, even trying to bang him not even really understanding how much she is hurting him.

He eventually gets a chance to escape and jumps over the edge of the floating ship, hoping to fall to his doom.

She begs the warrior to rescue him, and he does, but basically tells her through movement that she is gonna pay for that favour.

Later in the book, there is a rebel camp where the hero has escaped to, and as he is brought into the camp they bring someone to see him.

It's the alien princess, she has been blinded and exiled and is now a christian.

I read it as a kid maybe 30 years ago, I was too dumb to really get into it. I would love to read it again as an old man.
