Queer book about found family, a carnival, escaping an arranged marriage, and a disability
Post Body

This book used to be on every book list everywhere where queer books were found, and stupidly I forgot to note it down. It would have come out in very very recent years, like 2020 or 2021 even.

I think it would be New Adult more than Young Adult. The main character is a girl who might be asexual/aromantic and who escapes a forced or arranged marriage by running away to her friend Gunnar (or Gunther)'s home, where he lives with his own partner, I believe. I think there is a carnival or circus that comes to town, and I don't know what happens.

Thank you!
