Sort of a village building style LitRPG book, an aged, and knowledgeable wizard dies and somehow is reborn into another world but retains his memories of his previous life. Using knowledge he gained in his previous life, he breathes new life into the village, clearing a mine and making allies nearby. He starts to gain the interest of people around him when he defeats an small force that threatens the village and that's about all I remember. Wasn't an old book by any means, and it was on Kindle Unlimited, IIRC (or was otherwise free to read).
