I read it in high school (2010/2011) at the school library. School was in the rural south in the US. It was a large paperback graphic novel about a white blobby round four legged critter with stubby legs and a tail. I can draw the critter from memory. He had very trippy kind of metaphysical adventures in a steam punk victorian looking city. The paper it was printed on was extremely high quality and the art style was a cross between a sketch and an engraving. It was all done in sepia tones. Very old timey and quirky. The book had little to no text. That critter lives rent free in my head and I’d love to find the book.
