He’s a teenager in high school on the football team. He lives with his grandmother because his mother is addicted to drugs and only come see him when she needs money. After football practice him and his bestfriend are talking when he spot his girlfriend by the fence. He runs to kiss and hug his girlfriend while his Bestfriend looks disgusted. They decided to take a drive in either his or her car with his Bestfriend tagging along. The book ends with them graduating school and moving into new home with his football scholarship. His girlfriend and Bestfriend come to visit his new home and meet his family.

I read this book in middle school and it stuck with me. I only remember the beginning and ending, what happened in the middle is a total blank .
