I remember having this dutch book when I was a young kid (2002-2006) and it might have been a bit old. It was a fairy tale book but it did not have the classis fairytales. An important point is that the illustrations were really detailed like paintings and were a bit dark.
It had one story about a mother ladybug and her baby and a black ladybug with red dots who I think wanted to steal the baby. Another story I think was about a gnome caring for mice or something and there was also a gnome in one of the stories who was a blacksmith. I'm sorry my description is so vague but I was really young and there were multiple stories in this book. If anyone knows what I am talking about please help me.
