My aunt used to give me these new age books she read that she wanted me to read. I usually didn't read them, but I read this one and was curious if I could find it again.
It was written as an autobiographical account of the life of the author, who I believe had a Native American name, though I can't recall what North American nation she was from, so I can't even hone down my Google results.
I recall her name having a certain rhythm to it, though I can't explain what I mean. I think it was five or six syllables. Perhaps it was a bit of iambic pentameter.
The book had a painted cover and was available in paperback and on shelves in new age shops as late as the 2010s, as far as I can recall. I believe it had a painting of a woman on the cover.
In the book, the author talks about having a house off the grid to prep for the end of the world, she goes into some detail about her relationship with her husband, but I can't recall any of the further content. I can't recall if it had any mentions of shapeshifting or being a lightworker, or if I'm confusing the shapeshifting for other books.
It was big in the 'lightworker' community for a while. It was popular among readers who also liked the book Animal Speak by Ted Andrews.
