Ugh okay been a while.
Bit basically the internet becomes a physical thing and these hound adults have to travel across town and save the world while making art and talking about themess.
Then they mention cuttle fish ink and it's va gateway, a common theme is meta worlds like China Melville and others .
I have some more detail but I feel it may confuse people.
It had the vibe of 80-90s and their was a cephlapod-squid on the cover.
I need to remember it as a theme was about journaling and art on the internet
