I am using the Whatsapp desktop app on Mac OS but it has one big problem, that's still there after I deleted the program, downloaded it again and installed it again.

So on the left column where you see all the chats, the space of certain chats just goes blank. No name, no first words of the chat, no picture. It stays there as negative space between other chats above and beneath, that I can see.

I also cannot find these people when I use the search bar. If I want to shoot them a message through the desktop app, I have to search for a group where they are also part of, then click on them in the member page.

It is not related to specific contacts, it is also not related to chats that I formerly archived. I would love any help!
