Florida, about 1 and a half inches. DISTINCT teal octagons or hexagons. Couldn't tell if they were eyes or weird things on its rump. Striped wings that move very fast, they look like a full semi circle almost. Vaguely fly looking but not a yellow fly. Don't remember how mandibles or antennae look. Could have had patterns on its body I don't remember
IDENTIFIED ? Conura genus
If anyone knows of a different conura that resembles the image more tell me but this is my best bet so far
The hexagon/octagons might not even be eyes. I remember them being a raised shape, not rounded, no lenses or cones or whatever. I think they might have just been a pattern in retrospect
No he was actually perched on the fence of the school playground. Again childhood memory, I only remembered looking at the front of the bug.
I definitely remember 3 things: it was yellow, it had striped wings, and it had those weird teal things on it. Anything else is free reign. Maybe it's an arachnid that's way tinier
Thank you! I think it's my shaky, weird lineart, perhaps?
I can't edit the post but I think I solved it. Conura genus of wasp
I don't know what you think I look like or what I fear but it is not Cool Yellow Bug
Also the teal hexagons/octagons were not rounded like normal eyes. They were just 2 small slightly raised shapes
Can't wait to find Asmodeous and Lucifer
Close, but not quite they're both a bit too skinny
?? Because I remember my childhood somewhat well??
