My god this is my third post and I’m tired of typing everything. Need help identifying.

Long story short I found these on the river bank in central US and would like to know what they are. My grandfather and I suspect the first one to be a very old bear claw. The second possibly some sort of bird bone since it appears hollow. Item one is like 1.5” long. Item 2 about 3”
