I’m looking to buy a used car. I’m in a bit of a sticky situation bc the transmission on my Nissan went out this weekend. 2015 with only 74,000 miles. 🙃 (honestly I’m always fixing that car it’s not worth it to me to fix)
But now I don’t have a car to really shop around and I only have 2 weeks before this needs to be sorted and I go back to work. I’m comparing two vehicles right now.
A 2015 Honda Civic with 54,000 miles. It’s 17k but with taxes, title, extra protection it’s really just below 20k. I know that’s slightly over priced but the Civic reputation plus my personal circumstances has me considering it.
There’s also a 2020 Hyundai Accent with 64,000 miles for 15k. I haven’t added all the extra charges to that but I imagine like the last one it’d probably bump the price to around 17k.
My question is which one is worth it? A newer car with slightly more mileage for less or the reputation of a civic with slightly less mileage but more expensive? Thoughts?
