Iโm looking at grabbing a half-ton pickup that is going to be expected to tow roughly 8,000 lbs reasonably regularly, 75% highway when towing, and will be my daily driver when not towing, 50/50 city/highway split on that.
Iโm currently eyeballing a Toyota Tundra with the TTV6, an F-150 with the 3.5L TTV6, or a Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi V8.
Reviews of each say that they are within spitting distance of each other on fuel economy when not towing, but I canโt find towing tests on fuel economy.
Priority is reliability, longevity, and fuel economy when towing.
Any suggestions?
