Brought a Honda civic two years ago to go back and forth from work (60+ miles each way) but is it unsafe ?
Post Body

I drive back and forth from one busy city to another and I almost always pass an accident or two on my way in. My family is concerned for me traveling with hazards I usually encounter with my commute, I have already gotten into two accidents with my current vehicle (sucks for trade in value). I had a close friend recently die in a bad auto accident (unavoidable, at least for him) and now my family has been after me to get something bigger and safer in the event Iโ€™m involved in an accident. I have been really into the Rav4 prime I like how I can plug the vehicle in and save myself gas money but the dealers have been trying to charge me 6000-7000 above MSRP. I come to Reddit for advice in what car I should look into, I really want to trade in my current vehicle Iโ€™m really not looking for any luxury car or status car I just want something safe, reliable and I live in the north east and with my job I donโ€™t get to stay home on snow days or inclement weather.
