I’m 21F, car-illiterate, and looking to buy my first. Please let me know your thoughts on this offer.

An acquaintance is selling her car due to a move to a city. It’s recently had both head gaskets and the timing belt kit replaced — I don’t know what either of those things mean. The tires are from about 2016, but the car hasn’t been driven much in the past year.

It’s never been in an accident and she said she’s never had an issue with it outside of the head gasket situation. Is there anything I should ask a mechanic about? Red flags, possible concerns?
