Dont need a practical daily this will be a pure fun weekend car. So what to buy, Toyota GR86 or the new Mach 1 Mustang? They would be manual transmission of course. My current “fun” car is a fully tuned b8.5 audi s4 sepang blue/nogaro interior and its awesome, but at the end of the day it will never be a sports car. Its just a sporty car. Its a 4,000lb sedan. The GR86 is enticing to me for the obvious reasons of how enjoyable it is to drive a slow car fast, and the affordability, BUT i hate the 4 cylinder boxer engine (they should’ve used subarus 3.6R engine). The mustang is enticing because i am a ford guy at heart. My dad owns 3 broncos and i own a 70 torino. The coyote engine is awesome and the mach 1 does not have the shitty MT82. Its replaced by the tremec 3160 from the gt350. The price of the mach 1 is doable for me, but its stretching it a bit. Id be much more comfortable at 30k. I paid 30k for my s4 im currently driving.
