Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG 2018 honest opinion

I am planning on buying a 2018 C43 AMG but Iād like to know the pros and cons to buying a Merc especially a AMG and used. Several important questions I have are: is it true German luxury cars are eventually money pits in the long run, what does avg cost of ownership look like, and is reliability an issue.
