My wife and I recently rented a Mustang convertible for a weekend and loved driving with the top down. We are set on her leasing a convertible, but we both donāt know enough about cars to choose the right one. I come to the experts here for advice, thank you in advance.
Her preferences:
-Must be a convertible.
-Price is important, nothing too expensive (For budget, something cheaper than a Corvette or Porsche)
-Should have good fuel economy (gas prices are insane where we live)
-Would be nice if it has some power to it
-4 doors if possible (but not deal-breaking)
-(Subjective) Design - She doesnāt like how the Mini or VW Beetle look.
-(Subjective) How it drives - FWIW she says she likes how Japanese and American cars drive, but not German.
-Nothing too tiny - Sheās on the thicker side so a Mazda Miata is probably out of the question.
For the Mustang, she liked how it looked and loved the power it had. But she thought it was too big (āa boatā), was too much of a gas guzzler, had 2 doors, and didnāt like the rear wheel drive.
Is there a car that matches my wifeās criteria?
