I’m particularly interested in the TJ generation of Jeeps with the 4.0 and I’ve done my research on them, but I’d like to know how reliable the TJ’s are and what year would be the best purchase.

I’ve also been looking at some earlier Jk’s and was wondering if getting the v6 in that would be worth the extra price over the I6 of the older TJ.

Just some extra info: I don’t plan on off-roading the vehicle much, maybe some light mudding but nothing serious. I would like, however, to be able to give the engine extra power via supercharger if available. Miles don’t really matter as any one I may get I will most likely do a rebuild on anyways even if the miles ain’t crazy high. Thanks for any recommendations or info you can give me, I appreciate it.
