I'm getting ready to trade in my old 2016 Dodge Dart SE and think it's time to treat myself, I'm looking for a car that gets:
- Most importantly a minimum 30 mpg city and highway, ideally off regular gas rather than premium, this is the key feature I'm looking at first and foremost
- Has a decent (sub 7 seconds, ideally close to 6 flat) 0-60 since I live in the city and need to make certain turns to beat oncoming traffic more comfortably than my current one can
- Certain QoL features obviously the more the merrier, but I want specifics like heated and vented seats, moonroof, keyless start (I'm pretty sure this is just standard in most cars now but I might be wrong)
- Ideally it has a decent bit of storage space so I can fit my bike in the back by folding the seats down. I'm partial to a hatchback/wagon to find parking easier but I don't hate the idea of an SUV. I can give this up if everything else is solidly checked off the list and this is the only sacrifice.
- I'd like something reliable to where I don't really need to worry about taking it into the shop and spending as much as the car payment any time I do.
I'm able to spend ~45-50k on it if it can reliably last me the next 8ish years. at least
I was looking at a 2020 Acura RLX hybrid with 17k miles on it for ~47k but it's out of state and I feel iffy buying a car I cant see for myself and test drive. It's a shame they discontinued that model because on paper it checks every box but they're pretty hard to find in quality condition.
Any help is appreciated!
