So basically I've been looking at vehicles. I want a truck or SUV with 4x4/AWD. I think I've narrowed it down to a 2004 Nissan Xterra SE S/C or a 2011 Subaru Forester Touring SUV. The Xterra is supercharged, it has good working 4x4, heated seats, Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, aftermarket receiver, 135k miles, all the bells and whistles. And I know they don't have great mpg and they're top heavy. And the other option is a 2011 Subaru Forester Touring Sport Utility 2.5. It's got AWD, decent mpg, 120k mainly highway miles, Bluetooth, sunroof, backup camera basically the same thing without the supercharger and subwoofer. They both have decent mileage, priced close to the same ($7k for the Forester, $6995 for the Xterra), one is AWD and one is 4x4, both SUVs, both have leather interior. But which would you guys recommend? I'm in Oklahoma if that matters and I would primarily use it to go to work and go to the creek sometimes which has a lot of hand sized rocks you have to drive over (which 4x4 is great for, never tried it in AWD). I heard AWD is better for ice and it's been icy in winter sometimes here. Any recommendations would be great. Thank you in advance and thanks for reading
