This is a followup to a post I made from last week.
After much research I have come to the conclusion that I need a minivan over a large SUV. I've narrowed it down to three options: 1. Honda Odyssey 2. Kia Sedona 3. Kia Carnival
I'm buying used and my budget is roughly in the 20-25k range, with some play in either direction. I know there are multiple options for Odyssey and Sedona in this range. The Carnival is minimum 5k more for used.
The Odyssey seems to be the clear winner in terms of performance, reliability, and resale value. However, as stupid as this may sound, I like the look of the Sedona much more, and the Carnival even more so.
The only features I really need are cargo space, rear view camera, Bluetooth, and decent gas mileage.
I've never bought a car by myself before, so I want to ask the experts: how important is it to you how you FEEL driving, parking, and looking at a car every day? If the features are generally the same, am I stupid for considering potentially less reliable and more expensive options over the Odyssey? I want a vehicle that is practical and efficient, but also something I can feel proud driving.
Any advice is much appreciated!
