13 year old Honda Pilot in Canada with signs of age. At what level of annual maintenance cost does it become unreasonable to keep this car and replace it with another one ?

Post Body

I understand this may not be the right sub for this but I can do with sound reasoning wherever I find it. Honda Pilot 240K Km (150 K miles). Car has issues (previous minor accidents repaired through insurance, back-up cam doesn't work, early rust, key doesn't work but electronic fob does. The thing I like about is its space and the fact that I can tow a utility trailer, which I use only about 3-4 times in a year. If I were to replace this I would replace it with a sedan in 30K price range (max). I could give up the towing function.
