Are Teslas there yet? Or should I stick to Toyotas?
Post Body

I love simplicity. I like everything about the Tesla Model Y. Cabin, Looks, Driving attributes is attractive to me. Tesla’s reputation doesn’t seem bad either.

However, filling up a gas car for less than 2 minutes and be on my way during a road trip is more appealing. For a Tesla, if I don’t find a super charger, it’s an added 45 minutes to the trip. If I do find a super charger, it’s not that bad, around 15 minutes or so, but that’s not including the wait time sitting in line or waiting for others to finish charging first.

My other choice is the Rav4 XSE Plug-In Hybrid. Apparently gets 40mpg combined. And it’s a Toyota.

I love both cars, but biased towards the Tesla for its AI/FSD features. I want a Tesla, but afraid they aren’t ready yet, especially for Texas. What are your thoughts?
