I’m 17 from the uk and have been driving for about 5-6 months
So I have a 5 door 1.4 litre Vauxhall Astra 2009 that is costing me £1800 to insure through Tesco black box. And £200 to tax a year
I looked at a 3 door 1.4 litre Vauxhall Astra 2014 however this would cost an additional £500 on to my insurance but with £20 tax
What type of car would be the best to get on around a £3500 budget as I need something cheap to insure. I ain’t too bothered about what car I have as long as it looks “nice”.
Im also very confused on what is making My insurance so expensive. I have both of my parents on the insurance, me listed as a student, car kept on driveway, and no claims ect.
