I'm looking to book a flight to Edmonton in January 2024. Currently looking at the JFK->MSP then MSP-> YEG route. I looked on the Westjet website flight listings and I noticed that the first leg of the flight appears to be operated by Delta Air Lines, while the 2nd half is by WestJet.
Does this mean that I will be swapping between 2 different airlines for my trip? I know Delta & Westjet currently have a partnership.
Also, does it matter if I book my flight through Delta or WestJet for the trip?
This is my first time flying in years so I'm trying to make sense of things.
