From sixth grade to freshman year, I had an obsession with werewolves, I still do, which is why I'm here today. But I was so uninteresting to people at first, that I decided to channel my love for werewolves and acting into a prank that turned into a 4 year long prank. I grew up doing animal sounds with my vocal cords and used that partly to my advantage as I started the prank. My goal was to convince everyone that I thought I was a real werewolf. I would make wolf and dog sounds, you know. Barking, yipping, snarling, growling and howling. Every full moon I'd spend a large portion of the night howling at the moon and running on all fours, which I learned by watching a rottweiler and I was and still am remarkably fast on all fours compared to two. I'd also openly write a diary about my alleged lycanthropy and such. I'd often take on doglike behaviors and even eat a lot raw meat, aware of the risk of getting violently ill (thankfully I never did). The prank went surprisingly well, as I had everyone except for my mother fooled. Even my late and not so great father thought I was insane. He was right but I'm insane for different reasons. Anywho, my werewolf sounds are way better today than they were when I was a teenager, and I made believable sounds back then. Some of the canine mannerisms and reactions I had back during my werewolf prank (which became the longest running method acting exercise of my life), are still present today, but I don't think of myself as a werewolf. But I definitely know I'm odd. Anyway hello, yes I know werewolves are fictional and I love them. My favorite werewolf movie(s) would be the Ginger Snaps trilogy.
