Self-isolation brought our relationship to a new level
Post Body

After checking this subreddit I remembered that I also met my current boyfriend online. (somehow I completely forgot that our story is due to a dating app haha)

This is how it went: I’ve never used Tinder previously and downloaded it for the first time in late summer of 2019. I created a profile, matched with a couple of guys. Was too shy to start the conversation but ended up talking to a few. Went on one date and we haven’t talked with this guy ever since.

Fast forward to November when I meant to uninstall Tinder and something pushed me to check the messages. I’ve noticed that I super-matched with one guy who had a couple of memes along with his photos. I don’t know why and what made me do this but I responded and we started talking. About a week later we’ve met for the first time. And couldn’t say that it was love at first sight, I genuinely thought we wouldn’t meet again after that. But then we met again. And again. Before the self-isolation started we’ve met around six or seven times. And after everyone were advised to minimise the amount of social contacts he and I decided to only see each other and no one else in our friend groups. So, the past ten weekends we’ve spent together, cuddling and kissing (also we’re constantly checking our well-being and making sure to stay healthy). Somehow this weird and overall bad situation ended up okay for us. Can’t wait when all of this is over so we could finally have a walk in the city centre!

So yeah, I guess thanks Tinder? So far this is the best relationship I’ve ever been in and I honestly couldn’t be happier.
