I moved to a large city at the beginning of 2019. I went on several online dates, none of them progressing longer than a second or third date (i think only 2 people even got to a second date). I got sick of the random dating and shut off all of my online profiles. Randomly a month or so later, at the end of October, I decided to redo my online profile and reactivate. I matched with this handsome man and we chatted everyday for about 3 weeks before we met up. Our first date was amazing and we hung out 3 more times in the next 1.5 weeks. 6 months later, we are happier than ever. I am the first person he has ever met from online (lucky him). I thank my lucky starts everyday that I met him and I couldn’t be happier.
