I talked to this guy for a few months it was never something extremely serious. We never saw each other in person or hung-out it was just virtual. Then I realized I don’t like him at all and dont want a relationship with him so I cut him off completely. Its been 3 years and he came back wanting me back so i blocked him. He went to my friend telling her he feels like he has a strong chance with me (after blocking him…) and that he thinks I would want him. She told him you cant force it and he said no no I wouldn’t force I just feel like I have a chance. Fast forward a day later he called my dad and asked for my hand in marriage(in my culture thats what we do) my dad told him that I am getting engaged to someone else within a week. Then 2 weeks have past by without me hearing from him and he texts my friend, hey did ___ get engaged yet? I dont know why I’m worried. I feel like hes delusional in obsessing over not even a real relationship that lasted a couple months with someone hes never seen. He lives in the US and Im in a different country. He knows what city I live in which i dont know why its freaking me out. Hes overall a soft person but we always hear those stories of obsessive people hurting the person they like. What are your thoughts? Any advice? Experience you can share?
