Insomnia caused by overtraining?

Post Body

Hello. Recently this past week I've been dealing with pretty bad insomnia. I would sleep pretty easily but wake up after like 4 hours and would not be able to sleep again and I've noticed during that time that my heart beat would go raising, which probably is the reason why I can't sleep.

I have a feeling this is overtraining. In December, I wanted to lift more seriously, but it was really middle of January where I really amped it up with only resting 1 day per week (seldom 2) and I was always lifting heavy P.R type of weight. Thoughts on this?

Regardless anyways, I think I'm going to take 1-2 weeks of rest just in case because no way I'm lifting with this little amount of sleep.
